Students take an imaginary trip through a hospital stay. This activity is best experienced in a healthcare facility, but can also take place in a classroom. It examines all the hospital employees that will be encountered and their duties, education, and starting wage.

The Virtual Healthcare Career Exploration, offered in partnership with Sanford Health, provides an opportunity for students to experience a wide variety of health careers. Through DDN, high school students can access health career programming without leaving their classrooms! A local high school class may sign up to watch it live or may check out a taped copy of the session

This tour is a fun way to learn the names of tools commonly found in healthcare facilities. This activity can take place during a facility tour or also in a classroom setting. Students are provided with up to five clues about the object and asked to guess what it is. After the mystery has been solved, students learn its uses within the healthcare facility.

A worksheet for the students to fill out during their visit to a healthcare facility. It will give focus to their experience as well as give them ideas of questions to ask of the health professionals.
